Before installing SPC Flooring Malaysia, ensure that the subfloor is completely dry and well-aligned. The remaining process is relatively straightforward. Using tongue and groove joints, most SPC vinyl planks simply click together. Frequently Asked Questions
Q - What is virgin material vs recycled mateial?
When we talk about virgin material & recycled material, we mean the raw material of the SPC core.
For virgin material, the SPC core is made of calcium carbonate, polyvinyl, stabilizer, lubricant and so on.
For recycled material, as the polyvinyl is more expensive so some factories may use some recycled materials to replace polyvinyl to save cost. It can be tyre, wire, plastic basin or anything plastic products.
Therefore, it's hard to control the quality/stability of the SPC floor after installation, as it contains many things you don't know about.
Q - Why is there so much of price difference?
This is due to the recycled vs virgin materials used in the construction of the SPC floor as explained above even though the total thickness of the materials are the same.
Our Habitat SPC Flooring is made of 100% virgin material.
